We
are getting more and more support as we campaign throughout the
district and meet people. Our message is not a Democrat or Republican
one, but an American one. Unlike the two parties that have
proven to be lackeys for the global agenda, I am an Independent
and believe absolutely in America first, I believe the U.S Constitution
means something, and unlike the globlalist now running and
destroying our country, my oath to uphold the U.S. Constitution
will NOT be a formality. Mr. Pitts can't even keep a simple to
pledge to only run 10 years to the people of his district, why
we should expect him to hold up his Constitutional oath, perhaps
because the globalist agenda pays well and keeps him in office.
It is seriously time to stop party loyalty and return to America
loyalty, our founding fathers are rolling over in their graves
with what these so-called two political parties have and are doing
to our Constitutional Republic. Make a Stand! Take the party hat
off and vote for a return to our Constitutional form of government.

ELECTION
2008
WorldNetDaily
3
in 5 voters: Boot every congressman
59 percent say they'd kick out all members of House, Senate
If
given the choice, a new poll reveals, 59 percent of Americans
would sweep Capitol Hill clean of the current batch of senators
and representatives to elect an entirely new Congress.
Only
17 percent of voters polled said they would be willing to keep
the current legislature.
Rasmussen
Reports conducted the national telephone survey on the heels
of Congress passing a widely unpopular financial bailout bill,
revealing a significant amount of voter dissatisfaction with
the nation's current lawmakers.
The
polling firm records a mere 30 percent of voters approved of
the bailout, while 45 percent were opposed, and yet Congress
passed it, leaving behind some highly critical voters.
The
new poll shows only 23 percent of Americans have even a little
confidence in the ability of Congress to address the nation's
economic problems, and 76 percent doubt that most federal legislators
even understand bills before they vote on them.
Further,
less than half (49 percent) believe the current Congress is
any more capable than a group of people plucked from the phone
book, and nearly a third (33 percent) think the phone book Congress
would do a better job.
Despite
the lawmakers' dismal 11 percent approval rating, Rasmussen
Reports pointed out that 90 percent of Congress is likely to
remain following this November's election.
Rasmussen
Reports dug into history to reveal that for well over 100 years
after the U.S. Constitution was adopted, congressional turnover
in national elections averaged about 50 percent. Following the
New Deal era, however, those numbers began to decline. Since
1968, no national election has managed to muster even a 10 percent
turnover.
The
poll showed, however, that despite overall dissatisfaction,
Democratic voters were more hesitant to throw the out the current,
Democrat-controlled Congress.
Only
43 percent of the voters polled from Barack Obama's party were
willing to sweep Capitol Hill clean. Among Republicans, 74 percent
wanted to throw the whole batch out, and 62 percent of unaffiliated
voters were willing to join in.
Even
so, when asked if they would vote to keep the current Congress,
only 25 percent of Democrats polled said yes.

The latest
NBC/WSJ poll
has Congress's job approval rating at 13 percent. As I write,
the market is in turmoil, gas is $4.00 a gallon, government
spending is at record levels, and our trade deficit is
hovering at an alarming $700 billion. In fact, the national
debt is $10.5 trillion (we still don't know the real
number) and isfinanced entirely by borrowing, and if
the
$10.5 trillion doesn't scare you, perhaps the trend of (US Government)
borrowing from foreign
countries and international investors will. According
to the GAO, "reported in the September 2007 Treasury
Bulletin, Treasury Securities held by foreign countries and
international investors has increased $837 billion, from $1,383
as of June 30, 2003, to $2,220 billion as June 30, 2007."
Most
Americans feel they are not represented in Washington any longer,
and for good reason, they aren't. Thus, is it any wonder in
these times of uncertainty, we fine ourselves in a unique place
in this time of history? The importance of this upcoming election
cannot be understated; taking corrective action is an absolute
must in this election if we are going to regain our country
from special interest and self-serving politicians. Constitutional
representation takes ethical responsible people to serve their
country, not career politicians. As usual, on a national level
we hear the usual "Hope", "Change", "Reform",
Prosperity, and then cute slogans like, "Hope We Can Believe
In", and "Are You Better Off Than You Were Four Years
Ago?" (Do they really want to go there?) On the local level,
sadly, it doesn't get much better. Thus, is it any wonder Congress
has a dismal 13 percent job approval rating?
The
political machine that masquerades as a two party system with
little to no difference has high-jacked our political system
and has made it extremely hard to beat an incumbent and all
but impossible for an Independent to win. However, many have
had enough of politicians that are beholden to the 15,665 lobbyists
in D.C. that spent an astonishing $2.81 Billion dollars in 2007.
The polls
are telling us that people are fed up with the lack of representation,
and are ready for some fresh independent Constitutional thinking
folks, that will represent their constituents as our founding
fathers envisioned. Republican Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney
taught us one thing, money doesn't always buy your way into
office, while Former Governor Jesse Ventura proved that not
only isn't a third party vote a waste, we can win. Stated Todd
Paulson, executive director for Minnesota's Common Cause, "I
hope that this will show people what can be achieved when you
can pare down the influence of money on the political system,
it's the closest thing I've ever seen to a revolution."
Not only
has Congressman Joe Pitts drawn fire for abandoning his
pledge to serve no more than ten years, he has also received
$1,133,982 in contributions from some of the largest corporations.
Speaking of large corporations, Congressman Joe Pitts has sided
with them every time when it comes to so-called free trade.
In his "Free
trade is diplomatic engagement," notice NO mention
of the 20 plus years of consecutive trade deficits, no mention
of the countless of jobs moving offshore, "just zero
sum understanding," states Pitts. One would think with
a $700 billion trade deficit, jobs outsourced at an alarming
rate, perhaps it's time for a responsible trade policy and
it is Mr. Pitts with zero sum understanding. I believe this
begs the question, a man that has broken his pledge, received
over a million dollars in corporate contributions, his lack
of concern for our out-of-control trade polices, who is Congressman
Joe Pitts representing? Do we really want our congressman in
the 16th District to be a career politician that is beholden
to corporate America, or to ALL citizens of our district? Washington
is severely broken, it's time to clean house, and it's time
for true representative government once again. We should expect
no less from our representatives.
It was a
revolution that founded this country and we are at a time it
will take a revolution to recapture this country. Voting for
the same political parties has taken its toll on our Constitutional
Republic; we certainly need change, however, not just a change
of party, but a change in character, a change for representative
government. I am running as an Independent with the Constitution
Party, if you feel I am worthy of your vote and trust me in
this important position, and I am blessed to be the next Congressman
of the 16th District of Pennsylvania, I will pledge the following:
1. I
will serve only four terms.
2.
I will Vote according to the Constitution (America's Interest)
to the best of my ability.
3.
I will never vote for a congressional pay hike
4.
I will never take money from lobbyist, special interest or corporate
America.

"The
more I speak to people, the more I hear folks say they are ready
to support me as an Independent candidate for U.S. Congress.
People, both Democrats and Republicans, say they would support
me, because I stand for American issues that concern them, not
party lines issues" Dan stated.
"The
argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals
and policies, one, perhaps, of the Right and the other of the
Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to doctrinaire and academic
thinkers. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical,
so that the American people can throw the rascals out at any election
without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy.
Then it should be possible to replace it, every four years if
necessary, by the other party, which will be none of these things
but will still pursue, with new vigor, approximately the same
basic policies." --Carroll Quigley, Tragedy and Hope

"two hundred and twenty years ago great men wished
to embed the seventeenth of September forever in our memory.
There hope was to remind the world that fairness, justice,
and freedom are more than words, they are perspectives.
So if you've seen nothing, if the illness of our Constitution
Republic remains unknown to you then I would suggest you
allow the seventeenth of September to pass unmarked. But
if you see what I see, if you feel as I feel, and if you
would seek as I seek, then I ask you to stand beside me,
and celebrate the seventeenth of September, and always remember,
remember the seventeenth of September."

U.S.
employers cut payrolls at the steepest rate in 5-1/2
years in September, slashing an unexpectedly large 159,000
jobs as employment contracted for a ninth straight month,
suggesting the economy may be in recession.
The
unemployment rate was unchanged from August at 6.1 percent,
the highest rate in five years, as 121,000 people left
the workforce, the Labor Department reported Friday.
September's
job losses were much more severe than predicted by Wall
Street economists surveyed by Reuters, who had forecast
100,000 jobs would be cut.
The
report likely will ratchet up pressure on members of
the U.S. House to vote for a $700-billion rescue package
for banks and other financial firms burdened by bad
mortgage-related assets, which is contributing to a
spreading credit crunch.
Some
analysts said the monthly employment data pointed to
deepening economic woes.
"We've
seen weaker data in history, but these look pretty decisively
to be the beginning of something worse," said Pierre
Ellis, senior economist with Decision Economics in New
York, adding it might make the Federal Reserve more
inclined to cut interest rates despite its concern over
inflation.
But
David Watt, senior currency strategist with RBC Capital
markets in Toronto, said it was moderately encouraging
that the unemployment rate, which is compiled from a
separate survey, did not shoot higher.
"I
don't think there's any doubt that the labor market
has weakened, but it's not deteriorating quite as quickly
as the headline indicated," Watt said.
U.S.
stocks moved higher on hopes Congress will approve the
huge financial bailout package. U.S. government debt
prices pared gains and the dollar pared losses against
the euro. Federal fund futures held gains, with traders
expecting a 50 basis point rate cut in October.
September's
cuts follow revised losses of 73,000 jobs in August
and 67,000 in July and show the decline in employment
is accelerating. Some 51,000 manufacturing jobs were
lost last month on top of 56,000 cut in August, the
27th straight month in which manufacturers slashed their
payrolls.
Job
cuts were nearly across the board in September in every
major category with the exception of government, which
added 9,000 jobs.
The
average work week in manufacturing industries was the
lowest in three years at 40.7 hours.
Overall
hours of work in all industries slipped to 33.6 a week
in September from 33.7 in August -- the lowest since
November 2004.
We
can not afford to continue elite politicians still preaching
the wonders of so-called free trade, and continue to
tell us how good these sovereign and jobs destroying
schemes they really are. One would think with almost
$700 Billion and 30 consecutive years of trade deficits,
one would re-think this and look for policies that promote
responsible trade which would increase jobs and give
us a trade surplus. This country has traded since the
very beginning, America has never NOT traded, the fallacy
that we need global bodies such as NAFTA, CAFTA and
WTO to trade is nothing more then a trick to merge these
United States and exploit cheap foreign labor, on top
of that, they constantly push to increase the H1B Visa
to brig in foreign workers at the expense of American
workers. Enough IS enough!!! The audacity of these elites
politicians selling out the American people is beyond
disgusting. Now we see our financial system crashing
down while the America people are burdened with not
only jobs woes, but over a $12 trillion of debt and
climbing fast. This MUST STOP. We, the American People
must band together to get these people OUT of office
this November, before there is nothing left of this
country. Please see 3

Mr.
Pitts stated:
"In
spite of this, opposition to free trade exists in Congress
because of the belief that American workers need protection
to compete with workers abroad. This kind of zero sum
understanding of trade has kept free trade from advancing
and has prevented many throughout the world from realizing
the mutual benefits that can come from free, fair, and
open trade. In fact, American producers can compete
with anyone in the world; they just need to have
access to markets abroad."
Compete?
Lets talk about communist China. According to the National
Bureau of Statistics (NBS), the average salary increase
hovered around 14 percent from 2001 to 2006. The 2007
average salary of urban workers was 24,932 yuan ($3,679
a year) and the daily average was 99.31 yuan (14.15
U.S. dollars). Taking into account price rises, the average
salary increase hit a six-year-high.
Western
Sahara and the Free Trade Agreement
"Mr.
Chairman, I am voting for the FTA because there is protection
for the people and resources of Western Sahara and because
I believe the free trade will help the people of
Morocco and those of surrounding countries."
The
people of Morocco? Who does Mr. Pitts represent? Former
Congressman Tom Coburn gives insight in "Breach
of Trust, "In Washington, power is a morphine.
It dulls the senses, impairs judgment, and leads politicians
to make choices that damage their own character and
the machinery of democracy. It seems more power is needed
each year to satisfy the addiction." This certainly
would explain Mr. Pitts broken campaign promise, and
although noble, his concern for the people of Morocco
and those of surrounding countries. It is no doubt Mr.
Pitts has betrayed the American people and more specifically
the people from the 16th district. Careerism, arrogance
of power, and blatant Constitution abuse is the problem,
and Mr. Pitts is part of the political elite that
must GO! He Supports NAFTA,
CAFTA, WTO, U.N., IMF - in others words, the globalist
agenda.
The
World Trade Agreement Mr. Pitts Supports By Dan Frank
The
World Trade Agreement is an international agreement
with member's states to dictate international trade
policy. Formally know as General Agreement on Tariffs
and Trade (GATT) which was originally created by the
Bretton Woods Conference after World War II. The official
stance for GATT/WTO is to reduce barriers to trade,
however, I believe it reaches much deeper then that,
as the WTO has trumped sovereign American law and certainly
is not necessary for sincere free trade.
Article
I, Section 8, of the Constitution states that Congress
shall have the power "To regulate Commerce with
foreign Nations."
I
see nothing in the Constitution stating Congress may
abdicate or transfer their constitutional powers to
another institution.
As
stated above, the WTO official platform is to reduce
tariff barriers, quantitative restrictions (i.e. explicit
limits, or quotas) and finally subsidies on trade betweens
nations though various agreements. Contrary to mainstream
thinking on the WTO, the 1995 U.N. Commission on Global
Governance report, Our Global Neighborhood, succinctly
gave a clear indication of what the WTO truly is, "a
crucial building block for global economic governance…The
WTO and advanced regional groups such as the EU will
increasingly be faced with these issues that dominate
the international agenda in years to come: how to create
rules for deep integration that go way beyond what has
traditionally been thought of as 'trade.'" (emphasis
mine).
We
are already seeing the dangers of giving up our sovereignty,
in December 2004 a delegation of U.S. cotton farmers
had their day in court, not an American court, but a
dispute resolution panel of the World Trade Organization
(WTO), a 148-nation global institute headquartered in
Geneva, Switzerland. Incredibly the
U.S. farmers were coerced to appeal to a foreign "court,"
which resulted in the farmers ceding sovereignty to
the global body.
The
Delta Farm Press reported in December 7, 2004, a three-member
panel WTO panel ruled in September of 2004, that a number
of federal assistance programs for the cotton industry
are "prohibited export subsidies" that created
"significant suppression of world cotton prices
in marketing years 1999-2002, causing serious prejudice
to Brazil's interest."
A
direct assault to American sovereignty,Pascal Lamy,
the World Trade Organization director-general, says
the U.S. Congress passed a bad farm bill, one that sends
the wrong "signal." If the authors of
the Food, Conservation and Energy Act of 2008 needed
any affirmation of their work, they don't have to look
any farther.
Article
13 of the WTO agreement on Agriculture allows for governments
to provide subsidies, however, the global body (WTO)
claims authority to instill fines and taxes over sovereign
countries and to nullify any subsidies it deems inappropriate.
Even
pro World Trade Supporter Newt Gingrich admitted in
his 1994 testimony to the House Ways and Means Committee,
approval of the WTO was nothing less than a "transformational"
moment and was far more than trade rules:
"I
am just saying that we need to be honest about the fact
that we are transferring from the United States at a
practical level significant authority to a new organization.
This is a transformational moment. I would feel better
if the people who favor this would just be honest about
the scale of change.... This is not just another trade
agreement. This is adopting something which twice, once
in the 1940s and once in the 1950s, the U.S. Congress
rejected. I am not even saying that we should reject
it; I, in fact, lean toward it. But I think we have
to be very careful, because it is a very big transfer
of power."
In
addition, Economist Murray Rothbard succinctly nailed
it best, "You don't need a treaty
to have free trade."
Since
the early 70s the U.S. have gone from a trade surplus
to staggering trade deficits, and with the ilk's of
the WTO have seen even greater trade deficits, having
set a new record in 2005 at $725.8 billion.
This
country fought a war because of taxation without representation;
now with this egregious global body full of unelected
(by the American people) foreign bureaucrats have control
over our trade policies. Have we not come full circle?
Have we not acquiescence our constitutional responsibilities
to enforce our own trade laws? I believe so.
The World Trade Organization, a Geneva-based body composed
of foreign bureaucrats, will control our nation's economic
destiny, which Mr. Pitts endorses, Both the Mr. Pitts
and the WTO must GO!
Congressman
Joe Pitts vs. Second Amendment & Property Rights Sovereignty
Not
only is Congressman Joe Pitts dismal on protecting American
Sovereignty, American Jobs and a BIG spender, he is likewise
with our rights to own a gun. He has consistently voted
in favor of the United Nations. An organization determined
to disarm Americans of their 2nd Amendment Right and
through Agenda
21, assaulting Americans property rights. There is
nothing in the U.S. Constitution authorizing Congress to
acquiesce to a world body. The anti-gun statue at the
UN Headquarters reflects the organization's antigun bias,
which Congress Joe Pitts supports.

Dan was excited
to make the July 12th Ron Paul Revolution March in Washington
D.C.. Some estimated the crowd to number in excess of
five thousand people. Everyone in attendance was very
respectful, well mannered, and polite. "I was honored
to meet the author of one of my favorite books, The Creature
From Jekyll Island (by G. Edward Griffin), certainly a
book every American should read," stated Dan.
Dr.
Ron Paul reminded everyone that throughout history revolutions
have always been successes through the efforts of only 3-5%
of the population. His speech drew many rounds of loud applause
and excited calls of support from the crowd. People came
from all walks of life and from all points across the country,
in fact I attended with my good friend and constitutional
government activist Jeff Pete from Rhode Island.
